Growing up, I was fortunate to experience the best of both worlds. Teaching in the EFL/ESL Industry for six years while being a full-time parent has helped me understand how vital my role as a teacher is in language learning.
My father, a savvy businessman, and my mother, a dedicated teacher, instilled in me a unique blend of entrepreneurial drive and a passion for teaching. These combined influences have greatly influenced my path and shaped my journey, leading me to where I am today, from founding my own English learning platform in 2021 and becoming a breadwinner at 19 to juggling three part-time jobs while fulfilling the role of a full-time mother. It was undoubtedly challenging. However, if it hadn’t been for my passion for teaching and thirst for personal and professional growth, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am eternally grateful to my parents and the Lord for blessing me with the strength to persevere and guiding me through the most challenging times.
Joining the CELS family has been an incredible honor. Teaching English to international students is more than just a job; it’s a lifelong dream. The cultural exchange and close bonds forged with my students enrich my life in ways I never imagined possible.
Every day at LCIC-CELS reminds me of my incredible journey — from humble beginnings to fulfilling my aspirations. I am immensely grateful for this opportunity and pledge never to take it for granted. As I continue on this path, I remain steadfast in my commitment to bridging cultures through the power of education.
