Since I was young, I have had great regard and respect for teachers. I’ve witnessed and experienced their unwavering dedication, passion, and empathy in teaching their students, which are immeasurable and noble. This made me dream and utter these  words: “I want to be someone who can do what  my teachers do and be like them.”

Twenty years later, I am doing what they do. I am a teacher and have been teaching the English language for almost seven years. It was just a phrase I once uttered and dreamt, and here I am carrying the duty of inspiring and shaping students to reach their full potential, not just with locals but with people in diversity. My experience teaching a wide range of foreign students offline and online, all with unique and exciting backgrounds, has shaped me to become a better teacher. I have realized that education, teaching, and learning are not confined to a four-walled room but may take on many forms.

I am incredibly grateful to LCIC-CELS for this beautiful and meaningful opportunity. This new beginning has made a world of difference to me. Working in this institution was once a dream, and now I can live my dream every day. My heart is bursting at the prospect of contributing and growing personally and professionally.

I spend most of my free time reading books and writing poetry and prose in cafes. I view the words stanzas as my ally and pages as my best friend. I love making imagery of mundane situations and objects and turning them into unique pages or lines.
