Teaching is more than imparting knowledge; it is inspiring change – William Arthur Ward.
When I passed the Licensure Examination for teachers in 2017, I told myself, “This is it; teaching is not only something that I want, but it is something I am called to be.” Since then, I have believed that teaching is a profession and a vocation. It truly needs dedication, passion, and commitment.
I have been teaching for five years now; I had the privilege to teach online and face-to-face. From my experiences, proper education will not be limited to teaching and learning 1 to 3 subjects, but proper education is also an inspiring change. Transforming students to love learning has been my goal since then. With that, I will always be confident that no matter where my students go, they won’t stop learning because I have instilled that proper education in them. It is truly fulfilling and worry-free to let them go whenever they need to because I know I have transformed them into someone who loves learning.
Joining LCIC is both a pleasure and a challenge. It is a pleasure to be given an excellent opportunity to teach English to foreign students and let them use the language. On the other hand, the teacher’s effectiveness is genuinely being challenged in this result-bounded institution. Moreover, my excitement is unstoppable. To finally transform LCIC foreign students into someone who is confident and loves learning is something I am excited to achieve each day.
As a true believer, “Learning is a continuous process.” I am currently working on continuing my Masters Degree in English Language Teaching. Therefore, when teaching duties are over, expect me to work on my “student’s duties.”
I am excited to meet you all. See you in my class!
