‘We learn from failure, not from successโ
The Irish author Bram Stoker, made an assertion that struck me and led me to pursue the profession I am in today. Growing up in an environment where mistakes were never regarded as a sign of ignorance but rather as ideas that needed redirection, this idea helped shape my perspective when it came to teaching. I have embarked on this professional career to impart the ideologies my parents applied in raising me and utilize this in the classroom. My experience in teaching and my expertise in the deep understanding of business processing outsourcing operations, honed through extensive experience in the Sales function, are essential in molding the person I am today. In addition, I am giving myself exposure to continuing professional development, such as post-graduate studies, research papers, research collaborations, workshops, seminars, and training.
I have facilitated a non-traditional learning environment, acknowledging each studentโs diverse learning styles and developmental needs. This approach has fostered knowledge dissemination and student empowerment, encouraging them to be who they want to be and learn from their setbacks.
Furthermore, I thank LCIC-CELS for welcoming me into their community and allowing me to contribute in implementing their educational platforms. The schoolโs support, specifically the CELS departmentโs help, is essential in ensuring that the department and I can help produce globally competent students and great contributors to the community.
During my leisure time, I do free diving. I leave the surface, hold my breath and sink into the deep blue admiring its beauty. If not, solo travel is another option for me. It gives me a unique sense of peace. I donโt usually have a set destination; I just go wherever my feet lead me.
